Yes! So many books and authors fail to mention God’s name when talking about Him and it tears me up inside! I’m so happy to see you’re breaking that theme, Christy! Way to be bold. Also, I love the way this is being handled by Theo. I’m pretty sure he’s winging it but he’s doing an amazing job. so again, props to you, Christy! God has gifted you well! <3 <3 <3
Is this something that somehow generally survived… *hand gestures* …everything? Or is this more a Theo/”Theo found this” thing?
Curious because a lot seems to be carefully carved by the producer, traces of old hidden, and I’d’ve imagined all religions outside his control would fall to obscurity(esp wouldn’t have expected it from Theo(despite the song), due to what little we know of his upbringing/creation.
Christianity has survived, although mostly through underground channels.
If I ever make the prequel story with Theo + Theo’s (adoptive) dad, it would feature a bit more!
Theo’s dad was also a hacker / radio expert, but mostly for the purposes of communicating with & supporting other underground Christians. Theo ultimately made his own choice to become a Christian as well.
That’s so cool! I love that Christian underground theme! It can even survive the worst of complete social reconstruction. SO. COOL. I love that you’ve fleshed out your story so well and placed God in it too. You’re an awesome author.
Hm. Thanks for answering(also sorry for the delay in responding, life/PC deep-sixed itself)!
I figured if things were thorough enough that the concept of the country they were built upon(and, I assume, others) had been erased, that most everything would be, but I suppose that there’s no knowing what could behave been unearthed outside of what out Extras know.
DERP found a bunker after all. It’s possible if Alexis and Xavier mentioned the stuff they found, they’d get a “Oh… we already knew all of that.”
Thank you Christy for Theo’s testimony.
That’s so right. life is a test.
Yes! I love this so much, and I really hope this helps Xavier. (Also, the casual mention of tuna fish made me laugh.)
I’m legitimately curious how religiom survived the director’s propaganda machine. Since religion and states craft often bump heads.
“Experience is the cruellest teacher, giving the test first and the lesson after.”

I also trust God in everything. 10 times state champ in Russian Roulette Baby!
A particularly bold stance for a man who has been crippled by a door and subsequently tortured. More amazed by your mental strength than ever Theo.
Is this the first time religion/belief in a higher power has come up in the comic? It feels like the first time.
Less explicitly on 409

Interesting that Theo is religious, i wouldn’t have thought that just looking at him superficially.
